Background

ICO Nations Cup is a crossminton competition between national teams, consisting of male and female players. The competition is organized by International Crossminton Organization ICO and takes place annually from 2013 on, when an ICO Nations Cup competition proposal was prepared on behalf of the ICO by ICO Board of Executives member Matjaz Sustersic and was confirmed during the ICO Annual Assembly in June 2013 in Berlin, Germany.

 

Each year, Regional tournaments are played first and then Regional Champions battle it out at the Final tournament for the title of ICO Nations Cup Champion. First ever ICO Nations Cup Final tournament took place in Guimaraes, Portugal in 2013 and Slovenia was crowned as first ever ICO Nations Cup Champion.
