KLANTE AND HJALMARSON WIN EUROPEAN CHAMPION TITLES IN BELGRADE
Serbian capital Belgrade hosted the second European Crossminton Championships, which was played on the outdoor grass courts in Ada Ciganlija.
In Women’s category, German players dominated the tournament with Kerstin Klante beating Swantje Bechstein in the final match. Zuzana Sninska from Slovakia won the bronze medal. In Open Division, Per Hjalmarson from Sweden won the gold medal again, this time beating Daniel Gossen from Germany in the final match. Bronze medal was shared by two more German players – Rene Lewicki and Ulrich Burghardt.
